After months of experimentation and careful analysis, I've concluded that the Fridley Super Target on Central and 694 is slightly superior to the Har Mar Super Target on Snelling and 36. Not only is Fridley consistently stocked with Smartwater (Har Mar is frequently out of stock), but they also have many fashion items in all sizes and colors, whereas these items sell out quickly at other locations. One can only speculate as to why that is, but the ladies of Anoka county were less excited about this black Proenza Schouler miniskirt than I was, and that's all that really matters. Also, I was at the Fridley store the day before yesterday and the husky blonde security guard was tooling around the parking lot on a Segway, which was confusing and hilarious at the same time.
I have stuff to blog about this weekend, but I have to collect all my thoughts first. It's been kind of a weird week and now I'm scheduled to work in two hours so I gotta hop in the shower. I'll leave you with a preliminary copy of Temple's new menu, though. The front side is appetizers, soups, and salads and the back side is entrees and sides. It looks a bit more like Azia's menu now; the most popular Temple menu items are still there (like the Kobe beef and prawns, as well as several appetizer selections) but with many new ingredients and flavors. Sorry for the blurry photos, but I'm a s**tty photographer and hopefully your monitor is bigger than my little laptop.
The Singapore noodles are kickass, and I look forward to quality-testing the rest of the new vegetarian options. Thom plans to open Temple for lunch soon, too, as well as offer dim sum brunch on the weekends. I'll keep you posted on when all that will be happening.
