The Scantily Clad Women of the Warehouse District

Okay, here's the link to last night's Kare 11 Extra story, "Out in the Open, Talking About a Taboo Topic."  The comments in the previous blog entry pretty much sum up all of the feedback I've seen regarding the story, including more than one "huh?"

My interview was cut pretty short, but that's fine; I was worried about getting skewered yet again by another local media outlet, but they didn't take anything out of context at all.  My only regret is probably exactly the clip they used, in which I declare that I'm currently having "great, intense sex."  Something my parents probably didn't need to know.

Did anybody catch me on the radio yesterday with Stephanie Hansen?  I had a lot of fun and thought it went very well.  It was nice not being pressured into answering sex-related questions for an entire hour.  I rather enjoyed gossiping about Jessica Simpson, lamenting the unregulated toxins in everyday beauty products, and talking about other girly stuff in general.

Not to get all Foucault on this, but isn't the KARE piece the exact OPPOSITE of reality? It's almost like she visited Victorian times where no one actually did talk about sex. Now, in contemporary America, you can hardly go 10 minutes without hearing something sexual.

I saw you on the news and I thought you did a good job and you looked great! Also, as a viewer I could tell that the interview was cut short. That's just the way it works and I think most people understand that.

I like the Vanessa Ferlito 'do.
