My BFF Molly is in town this week from Chicago, so I've been spending as much time as possible with her. I took Tuesday off of work and we went shopping at Von Maur. I showed her the way of the Big Star jeans. I have two pairs myself, and now she has a pair. These jeans are fantastic. The styles with a little spandex in them have the perfect stretch and drape. Be warned: Big Star jeans run long. I'm 5'10" and the bootcut style are almost too long on me. I also helped Molly pick out some new bras at Von Maur. She learned the difference between buying bras made by a company that only makes lingerie (industry leader Wacoal) and buying bras at a single-brand box store that also happens to make lingerie (H&M). She picked out three well-fitting, high quality bras that will easily last her a couple of years, rather than become tattered and misshapen after only a couple of washes.
In the evenings, we've been hanging out, watching movies, and talking about boys. Molly moves back to Minneapolis this summer and we'll be living together. That reminds me, I should start talking to the rental property owners I know. We need a nice, animal-friendly duplex in Northeast. Something with a lot of counter space.
Anyway, some links:

The Wacoal bras are my favorite things. I feel like wearing them and only them around town and pointing my boobs out to strangers. "Look! My bra fits and I look hot!"

Okay, that would be hilarious.

Nice selecion in beer. That one on the far left, the Lambic, is it raspberry? I've had that in a raspberry before and it was freaking awesome. Anyway, found this through H's Livejournal friends. Nice blog! See ya!

I believe it was cherry. Lambic-drinking is a ritual I was introduced to a few years ago by a microbrew bar owner. Who'd have thought you heat it up? So much better than coffee after dinner.
