I'm Back

I'm back.  What'd I miss?

I was getting all ready to write a nice little wrap-up of my trip last night, but I suddenly didn't have internet.  If I can't get it to come back by unplugging everything and plugging it back in, I figure all I can do at that point is wait it out.  Which never fails, of course; lo and behold, I have internet this morning.

Anyway, I'll get around to briefing you on the trip, as well as editing up the video I shot while I was there.  For now, though, I'd just like to remind you that the mindblowingly rockin' Lucero is playing at the Triple Rock tomorrow night.  Do not miss this show!

Also, after my kickball team's first practice on Sunday, I'll be heading over to Stasiu's to bid farewell to Jerry.  Stasiu's is on the corner of University and Lowry Avenues, in beautiful Northeast Minneapolis.

I guess I'm not doing anything tonight.  Some of my friends are going to the Hexagon for The Gleam's CD release party, but I cannot tolerate The Gleam.  Vicious Vicious is playing at The Nomad, but I just saw them last Friday. 

You know what I think I'll do tonight?  Watch TV on DVD.  I'm up to episode 5 of "Threshold", and I'm totally diggin' it.  How come all the good shows get cancelled?

I was thinking about writing a top 10 of sorts for the trip. Perhaps I would even have to include a bottom 3. My outlook has changed since the videotaping...BTW I may need to approve that footage before it's posted!!

looking from something to do? Rosalux Gallery has an opening tonight, 5-9pm. And then tomorrow night 'pilot' a new artist collective has an opening in uptown.
