Complimentary Hors D’oeuvres and Beer Provided by Solera and The Capital Grille
Entertainment Provided by local DJs, Tarot Card Readings by Melanie Sartain
$20 Donation Suggested at the Door
On October 1st, Tamara Schultz of La Belle Vie and Ryan Ecklund of The Capital Grille lost all of their possessions when an electrical fire destroyed the house they were renting. Even if you don’t recognize their names, chances are you’d recognize their faces. Both Tamara and Ryan have been intrinsic parts of the local fine dining scene for years and have cultivated many lasting friendships within the foodie community.
Please join all of us for an evening of food, drinks, dancing and great company as the Twin Cities restaurant community comes together in support of Tamara and Ryan.
We’ll be featuring a local food-lover’s silent auction and prize raffle, with gift certificates from La Belle Vie, The Oceanaire, The Capital Grille, Solera, Azia Restaurant & Anemoni Sushi Bar, Mission American Kitchen and many more of your favorite Twin Cities restaurants.
Other silent auction and prize raffle items include a night on the town package from Classic Auto & Limo, tickets and merchandise from the St. Paul Saints, donated pieces from local artists, tons of movie and sports memorabilia and yourself as a character in the upcoming sequel to the Iron Chef America video game.
No RSVP necessary, just join us at Solera this Sunday night from 6pm-11pm. If you can’t make it, donations for Tamara and Ryan can be made at http://mnphoenix.wordpress.com/, where you can also see photos of the fire damage and get updates on Tamara and Ryan’s progress.
Tamara and Ryan would like to make the best of this tragedy and encourage you to protect your belongings by securing renters insurance if you don’t own your home. Since so many of us rent and so few of us bother to buy the insurance, this terrible loss really is something that could happen to any of us.
Tamara and Ryan would also like to say thank you, thank you and thank you for all your amazing support, which continues to help them every day as they begin rebuilding their lives together.
Questions? Please call Dan Schultz at 651-269-1750 or email him at danielrschultz on the Gmail tip.
Just added: even more restaurant gift certificates (including The Herkimer), signed Twins uniforms, and a trip for 2 to Las Vegas.
Come out Sunday night and have some food and drink, even if you can't swing any bids right now. Tammy's a really great person and I'm happy to help with this benefit for her. I'd love to see a huge turnout, beyond the restaurant industry folks.

My pleasure, Tam!
